Dapoxetine

30 and 60 mg tablets

Each tablet contains Dapoxetine (as HCL)

Dapico is a short-acting medicine that increases the time to reach ejaculation and improves ejaculation control, and is used to treat premature ejaculation in men (18 to 64 years old).

  1. This medicine is prescribed for your current treatment. Therefore, refrain from using it in similar cases or recommend it to others.
  2. It can be taken with or without food.

In case of severe allergy to the medicine, heart disorders (heart failure, heart rhythm problems), history of fainting, moderate or severe liver disorders, severe kidney failure.

Use this medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor. To avoid the bitter taste of the medicine, swallow the tablet completely with a glass of water.

Dapico is not intended for continuous daily intake and should be taken only when there is an intention of sexual activity. The medicine should be taken about 1 to 3 hours before sexual activity. The maximum daily dose is 60 mg.

If any of the following applies to you, consult your doctor or pharmacist before taking Dapico.

  • In case of other sexual disorders such as erectile dysfunction
  • Having a history of dizziness from low blood pressure
  • Alcohol consumption
  • Epilepsy
  • History of bleeding or blood clotting problems
  • Suffering from high pressure in the eyes (glaucoma) or being at risk of developing it
  • Suffering from acute mania or severe depression

All medicines have possible unwanted side effects along with the therapeutic effect, although not all of these side effects can be seen in the same person.

  • Feeling dizzy (light headed) while standing, headache

If you notice the following symptoms, stop taking the medicine and see your doctor immediately:

Seizures, fainting or feeling light headed, any change in mood, any thoughts of suicide or harming yourself.

This medicine may lead to faint, sudden drop in blood pressure or feel dizzy when standing up. To help reduce these symptoms (if it occurs), lie down immediately or place your head between your knees until the symptoms are resolved. In this case, avoid driving or working with machineries. This medicine should be taken with at least one full glass of water.

Keep the medicine at a temperature below 30 degrees centigrade, in the original packaging and out of the reach of children.
